WOW!!!!

What a crazy couple of weeks. I didn't realize it had been so long since I have been on. Lots have happened.

Eli and his family moved out today....well sort of. They have a few things left to come over and get.

Cody is still doing great in school. He has really become good friends with our neighbor's son, Brian. He has been spending a lot of time at his friend Bruiser's but we think that has something to do with Bruiser's sister, CJ. LOL. She is really pretty and is a very good girl. Her sister is one of my best friends, Dawn. Her parents keep a close on him when he is over there spending the night. We all know how teenagers are..since we were all teenagers at some point.

Shane finaly got to put World of Warcraft on he computer and he has been spending a lot of time on it. He seems to really enjoy it. Now he wants to get all the extras that go with it...special keyboard, headset, joystick, the whole nine yards. A lot of our friends back in Indiana play it as well so they are helping Shane get caught up to their level.

School is going really good. I am about half way through the semester and stil doing pretty well. I am still really having a hard time with that dang English class....but I will survive. I am about to start on my reasearch paper. I am going to do mine on a band in Indiana called "Project Rico". It should be pretty easy considering we know all the band members. So I get the inside scoop when it comes to information.

Well, I have to go and start supper...We love everyone and hope to see a lot of you soon!!!!

Spring is finally here!!!!

Well, Spring is finally here I do believe!!! Easter was great! Shane, Cody and I spent the dy kind of being lazy. I got to talk to my Aunt Maggie on Sunday and Kelley sent us a text message telling us happy easter. Aunt Twilia sent her usual holiday greeting card on the computer, it is so great to see them everytime she sends them.

I finally got my promotion, which was what I was originally hired for. They moved me over to the Legal Department on last Friday and it I really enjoy it over there. I am finally doing the paralegal work that I went to school for. I never knew how much I would love the legal field. I can't wait to be able to go to the University of Arizona and attend law school.

Brandon and everyone are supposed to be coming out around the beginning of June. I can't wait to see everyone.

Spring Break

Well, we are on spring break this week. I have to go to school tommorrow for about 30 minutes just to meet with the two girls in my group to work on a presentation for our litigation class. Cody does not officially have spring break since he does his school work on the computer.

Mom and Dad were here over the weekend and we had a lot of fun. I love it when they come to see us. It was to get to spend some time with them. We went to the swap meet and got Cody some new clothes and I got some new sunglasses. That will help me to get rid of some of these headaches that I have from the sun being so bright.

Bad week for us

This has been a sucky week. We got a call Monday night and were infromed that Shane's foster brother, Big, passed away Sunday night. Then today we received a phone call from his Aunt Josie in Idaho informing us that his Uncle Danny that lived in Canada passed away last night. We are not able to travel to Canada so we are probably going to just have to send some flowers. I have spent the better part of this evening trying to track down Shane's dad to inform him about his brother. We think he somewhere in Alabama.

I missed work three days this week after having my teeth pulled and I ended up with an infection in my gums. It was pretty painful. The dentist put me on an antibiotic and it cleared it up. But it still is pretty tender. I have to go back to the dentist next Thursday just to recheck my gums and make sure that all the infection is gone.

Welcome to Tucson!!!!

We have a houseful now! Eli's family got here on Tuesday afternoon. Chris (Eli's girlfriend) is great! Potential best friend???? We will see! His kids have gotten so big. The last time I saw them was about 3 years ago when he still lived in Indiana. I have babysat them before.

I had to go to the eye doctor this morning and I found out that the glasses I got like 2 years ago, I didn't even need them. He did say that my eye muscles are weak and I need to do some eye exercises. I have never heard of that before. So, I guess it is back to the drawing board trying to find out what is wrong with my head. All the tests I have had have come back normal so I don't know what is wrong. Everyone is telling me that I have always not been right in the head, so I don't know.

School is going good. Cody is doing really well and has brought all his grades up to an A and two B's. WAY TO GO CODY!!!!

Lot of fun this week!

We have had a lot of fun this week! I did not have any school this week. It is crazy, they let school out for the rodeo. Can you believe that?

There is a big golf tournament here in Tucson and the law firm that I work for has a huge tent right on the 16th hole and all our big clients are in town for the tournament. We got two tickets to attend on Sunday and spend time with all the higher ups in the firm. Last weekend ago we went to my friend Dawn's 20th birthday party. We had a lot of fun and I have posted a couple of the pictures on here for everyone to look at.

Cody is still doing really good in school and has brought his grades up. He now has an A, a B, and a C.

Well I will put more when I have more to talk about.

Weird Week

Cody is doing so much better with school. I think he is finally beginning to get a grasp on what is expected of him in his English class. That has been an uphill battle. School is going good for me as well. I have my first essay due in English class on Saturday. As most of the people who know me know I am no good with this type of thing. But I was able to knock out a three page essay in about an hour. Shane will be checking it over nonetheless. Thank God!!!

Shane and I have a friend who lives in Houston, Texas who has accepted a position with Poly Print (where Shane works) and will be arriving here in Tucson on Friday. Eli is a great guy. He has been a friend to us when most people in our lives have decided that since we moved so far away that we were not important anymore. Thanks for that Eli!!!!

My nephew, Brandon, will be coming to Arizona in June and spending 3 or so weeks with us. I am so excited and so is he from the feeling I got when I talked to him on the phone. He told me that he is looking forward to it. We are going to try and plan his trip[ out here around him coming with my middle sister Pat. They will be coming out here for my other nephew Austin to tour the University of Arizona. Hopefully Austin will pick here to go to college. But he will go where God wants him to go. That is what is important. Even though we would LOVE to have him here.

The weather here has been outstanding. It has been in the mid seventies for about 6 days now. I do not miss that snow and ice and cold at all. This is the life!!!!
